Land

A land with personality and history

Much has been written about the Douro Valley, birthplace of Port Wine, an amazing UNESCO world-heritage wine region, established in 1756 and whose recent past has seen a tremendous increase of interest in it’s dry wines.

Our brand is a tribute to a medieval man who lived on these slopes, Gueda, the original farmer, whose mark still lingers in the nearby village Presegueda.

We source the grapes for our wines and the olives for our olive oil in our vineyards scattered around the Lower and Upper Corgo sub-regions.

Each vineyard has its own personality and our agricultural and winemaking choices enhance those traits. We focus on providing a stage to the Douro immense diversity of grape varieties and ever changing blends.

Sustainable Agriculture is our passion and a necessity in a changing world that need preserving from man’s impact.
